My why comes years after teens leave Kyle's Place, when they return to share their stories of success, the life lessons they have learned, and the ways they are now making a positive impact on others. It is seeing them take pride in the person they have become because of the challenges they have overcome. It is watching them become the catalyst for change in their families and communities, inspiring others to believe in themselves and make a difference.

Every event we plan and every dollar we raise is about more than fundraising. It is about creating opportunities for teens who have experienced homelessness, abuse, neglect, and trafficking to feel seen, supported, and hopeful. Knowing that our work helps provide safety, stability, and a brighter future for young people is what drives me every day.
